The classic Adams dry pattern tied parachute style. White post aids visibility for low light and rough water, and the parachute flies float very well. An absolute must have fly! Imitates many early season mayfly hatches, but also works as an attractor when fish shy away from brighter offerings.
A parachute style fly, although can be used in rough water, is more known for smooth, flat water. These ride a bit lower on the water than the standard hackled version and therefore create a more lifelike sillhouette.
You can also cut the tails off these puppies and use as a midge imitation!
