Schultzy's Leggy Boi has to be one of the most tied smallmouth flies among tiers in the Midwest but dont let location stop you, this has to be one of the best patterns for early season pre spawn bass there is. When you strip this fly in it will hover on the drop, that mixed with all of the rubber legs tied in make smallmouth go absolutely insane! This is definitely a must have for those of you fishing for smallmouth!
The Schultzy's Leggy Boi is tied with marabou, flashabou, rubber legs, schlappen, body chenille, crustaceous brush, tungsten bead, 10mm shank, 20mm shank, an Ahrex 280 Minnow #1 front hook and a size #2 Gamakatsu SL12S rear hook. Sold here in the white/chartreuse colorway.
