Introducing the new for 2026 Redington Classic Spey Fly Reels. A much needed addition to the line-up and a welcome and refreshing offering for those who are loving the click-and-pawl revolution going on these days!

Redington's new Classic Spey fly reel series is rooted in the everyday creation of the raw, unfiltered moments that we crave- all brought together in a mid-arbor, high-decibel design that simply clicks with eh whys and ways we swing for trout, steelhead and salmon. We'd also like to point out that we don't discrimintate around here, and plan to use these reels for warmwater and saltwater pursuits as well!!!

Classic Spey reels are offered in 3/4/5 (3-3/4" trout spey), 5/6/7 (4" switch and spey) and 7/8/9 (4-1/4" spey and saltwater) sizes. Each version features a powerful triple-pawl system with enough adjustable drag to tame angry anadramous opponents, enough audible click to sound the alarm and enough palm-able rim to maintain control. Constructed from machined 6061-T6 aluminum, the classically ported mid-arbor, wide-spool design is thoughtfully weighted to balance two-handed rods, and it's durable build delivers fast line pickup- making it the perfect fit for a lifetime of good times on the water.
