Flip Pallot Signature Manley 5.7" Super Pliers

Introducing the Flip Pallot Signature 5.7" Manley Super Pliers! We are so proud to have been a part of this project and honored to help introduce them to the angling world. We know that Flip is smiling down on us!

It was the Spring of 2025 and Flip Pallot and Brian Flechsig were sitting around in Flip's driveway, having just finished up one of their famous Florida Fly Fishing Schools. They were both of course wearing their Manley's on their hips. Flip pulled his out to crack open and beer and Brian asked..."Would you ever consider designing pair of Flip Pallot Signature Manley Pliers?". Flip paused, looked at the sky, and said..."Sure, you think Hank would be interested?". Brian called Hank shortly after and he said "Hell yes!". The rest is history.......

Flip Pallot wore the Manley 5" Teflon Coated Super Pliers #2007 on his hip whenever he went fishing....heck, he wore them every day, no matter what he was doing! He gently chided others who spent hundreds of dollars on fancy, "designer" products, proclaiming the Manleys as superior in all aspects. He was convinced of the benefits of the parallel jaw design, and would take any and all opportunities to explain why. (See Mad River Outfitter's YouTube video of October 14th, 2024 entitled Are These the Best Fishing Pliers in the World?).

Flip left me with some pearls of wisdom to pass along to you. He had suggested that I improve the rust resistance of the handles and to consider some "angler friendly" adjustments to the overall jaw design. I accepted the challenge and designed these chromed handles that will be impervious to corrosion. I also extended the Teflon coated, parallel action, serrated jaws with a gentle taper to facilitate reaching into the maw of a fish to retrieve hooks. The unmatched cutting feature of the jaws, which Flip so admired as well, remains unchanged.

Although Flip is not here to see this iteration of Super Pliers, I believe he would be honored to wear them....and to use them. I am proud to present the Flip Pallot Signature Super Pliers to the fishing world.- Hank Manley
