Basic Scud flies that are useful on Eastern and Western spring creeks and tailwaters. Also a fine imitation of Sowbugs and Cress bugs as well. These are slightly weighted and a better option than the bead head version when the fish are picking these out of the vegetation usually found in the shallows along the edges of a stream or lake.

Big trout love these little protein packed meals......and they get that way by eating them. These are especially important to us in the Winter months when other food sources are slim but you can also find them by the millions in the aquatic vegetation that blooms in Spring and Summer. You don't want to fish spring creeks without these and there are many tailwater systems that rely on them as the major food source.
