Chocklett's Changer Craw

Blane Chocklett's Changer Craw changes the game yet again! Never has there been a crayfish pattern with this much built in movement. This fly has foam built into the claws as well as flattened lead eyes on the tail. These two characteristics allow the fly to maintain a perfect headstand or defensive posture when at rest on the bottom. This is a huge trigger for smallmouth and bass as well as trout, but in the small size featured here, it makes for a fantastic permit and redfish fly as well as for larger bonefish. 

Some of our favorite fish to target with these are both Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Trout as well as Bowfin....but also Permit, redfish, bonefish and other saltwater gamefish. Whether it is stripped, swung, or dead drifted this effective fly is a must have in your warmwater/saltwater fly box. 

Chocklett's Craw Changer pictured here in the tan colorway. It is tied on one 6mm shank and two 8mm shanks, finesse chenille, hen feathers, zonker strips, medium carapace body/claws, sexi floss, crustacean eyes, rubber legs, flattened dumbell eyes and an Ahrex SA274 size #8 hook, measuring at just under 3" in length.
