Balanced Fly Pins are used for tying the balanced leech or other balanced patterns. Typically used with either a 60 or 90 degree jig hook. To use simply slide pin through the small hole on the desired bead color and size. Tie down the pin to the desired hook shank so that the bead is now sitting out past the hook eye. This placed the center of gravity more closer to the middle of the fly "balancing" the pattern horizontally. Pins can be cut to size with wire cutters. From nymphs to leeches, to other streamers the Balanced Fly Pins will help you produce perfectly balanced presentations. There are approximately 80 pins and they come in a small plastic container.
