Introducing the True Angler Outfit™ — a meticulously curated heritage inspired ensemble for the discerning angler who demands tradition, function, and unapologetic serious style on the water.

This outfit features a handcrafted 2-piece vintage bamboo fly rod paired with a classic fly reel for smooth, old-school precision. The legendary 280-pocket fly vest offers unmatched storage, with room for every fly, 48 spools of leader material, multiple nippers, snacks, secrets — you name it.

Top it off with a raccoon fur cap lined with soft sheepskin, adorned with a field-ready assortment of flies. A corn cob pipe completes the look, ideal for streamside reflection.

You'll stay dry in vinyl-coated bootfoot waders, and carry your catch home in an Amish hand-crafted wicker creel — signed by Brian Flechsig himself.

Fully enforced and endorsed by the Bureau of Angling Regulation (BoAR), this outfit brings the angler back to the truest roots of the sport: Dry Fly Trout Fishing, where presentation is art and tradition lives on with every delicate cast.

MRO has never let me down. As someone who once tried to catch trout using a Bluetooth-enabled smart rod and was laughed off the river by a beaver, I can safely say the True Angler Outfit™ has brought me redemption. From the moment I donned the raccoon fur cap (which somehow made me 23% wiser and at least 12% more rugged), I knew I had entered a different echelon of angling. The 280-pocket vest? Honestly, I’m still finding compartments. Just yesterday I discovered a small drawer that may or may not be for existential crises. The vintage bamboo rod casts like a dream and makes a satisfying “fwip” sound that tells the trout you mean business — or maybe poetry. It’s hard to say. My fishing partner wept a little when he saw it. Might’ve been the pipe smoke. Speaking of the corn cob pipe, it’s not just an accessory — it’s a lifestyle. I’ve started calling other fishermen “young blood” regardless of age, and I now reflect deeply on things like cloud shapes and the migration habits of caddisflies. The vinyl bootfoot waders kept me dry even after a heroic faceplant during a particularly emotional cast, and the Amish wicker creel? Stunning. Trout practically leap into it out of sheer respect. In summary: This is not just an outfit. It is a full spiritual conversion to the old ways. 10/10, would bamboozle a brook trout again.

Finally a vest that can actually hold an afternoons worth of dry flys. I am soo tried of the new fangled Simms, Orvis, Fishpond products being rammed down our throats. This entire set of gear is the right step to bring a true trout fisherman. The autographed creel is the icing on the cake!
