MFC Fly Tying Mat

I was just in the shop with my son and walked past this MFC mat. Two evenings later, I watched Ryan’s review on YouTube and thought I would give it a try. So glad I made the purchase! This may is heavy, non slip, magnetized stores, ruler, hackle gague, etc. I placed the mat on my desk amd it’s rock solid! My Renzetti Madter vise had the steamer base and the closest budge a bit! Well worth the price and looks like I’ll be purchasing another for my son! Love shopping online and in person when we can at MRO! Thank you!!

I did’t think I needed this since I had a fairly common wooden “box” with a few depressions in it. Box that when beads started rolling, I hoped they would at least roll into one of the depressions-where I still didn’t want them. I looked at my tape measure taped across my desk top. My hackle gauge in a not so convenient place. All of this after Ryan’s simplified video that explained the MFC mat in simple fashion…and he left it at that. No pressure that I needed it. Which is one of MRO’s most powerful marketing tools. No pressure. When your idea that you need something is all yours, it’s exponentially more powerful than someone (in sales) telling you that you need it. That’s the magic of MRO’s marketing. “Here it is.
