This Torrentshell provides all-day comfort and long-lasting waterproof durability, and this 3-layer shell is PFC-free (fabric, membrane, and finishes do not contain perfluorinated chemicals).
The two-way-adjustable hood with a laminated visor rolls down and stows with a simplified cord-and-hook design. The microfleece-lined neck provides comfort and protects with a waterproof/breathable barrier. There is a snag-free center-front zipper with external and internal storm flaps and zipper-garage chin guard. There are also two handwarmer pockets and venting pit zips with welted exterior storm flaps.

Though each Patagonia® product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, we can generalize our fit descriptions in three ways:
Slim Fit: Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.
Regular Fit: Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers.
Relaxed Fit: Drapes loosely on the body.
