Have this line paired with an Echo Carbon XL 6 weight, per the expert advice of the team at Mad River. I fish mainly shallower streams/lakes/ponds. This works amazing to throw the mini sizes of Galloups articulated streamers. The sink tip sinks very well, used the YouTube videos to snell the streamer leaders directly to the line, which seems to really enhance the action as intended. The floating section floats very well. This has definitely gotten me hooked on sinking tip lines!
