Downed Caddis - Galloup's

Kelly Galloup Downed Caddis from his book "Cripples and Spinners". Also referred to as the Drowned Caddis in places, this fly theoretically imitates an adult caddis that has been submerged. This fly has quickly become a staple caddis immitation for us anywhere caddis are prevalent. It's been a great fly here on the Mad as well as on our trips to the Madison and everywhere in between.

Fish these as a drowned adult or swing them as a pupae, also a great nymph pattern. This versatile caddis pattern is a must for any trout box.
