The Cortland 444 Modern Trout Fly Line is a great choice for a variety of situations. Combine this with the fact that it is Hi-Vis Orange, and the amazing value, it has quickly become one of our best selling lines. The Modern Trout was designed for complete trout versatility, and then some. The short front taper will turn over nymph rigs, streamers and dry flies, while the extended back taper increases line control and makes for quick line pick up. Also very suited for panfish and light duty bass fishing. Just a great all-around fly line really!
