MRO Slim Silicone Fly Box

I was excited to have a big flat box to fit nearly all of my flies that was reasonably priced. I much prefer the silicone to the foam boxes, HOWEVER, almost every single one of the “slits” was not fully cut open so you couldn’t slide a fly in. I spent about an hour with an x-acto knife either pulling apart the half cut slot or straight up cutting a new one because there wasn’t even a cut in the silicone. After the world’s largest finger cramp and an hour of cutting, the box is great. About a half inch deep so I can still fit some bigger flies. There is also decent spacing so if I do need to skip one of the slots (that I painstakingly cut out) to avoid cramping bigger flies, there isn’t a huge gap between like some of my other boxes. I gave three stars listing the item as “ok” because after I had cut it all open, it’s lovely but MAN was that a pain.
