Spanish Bullet Quill Jig

The Spanish Bullet Quill jig fly is a fly steeped in European tradition.  Bullet or pellet is the English translation of the word Perdigon. It features a stripped quill body with the UV Epoxy coating which makes for a very sexy, and realistic looking nymph body. This Spanish bullet fly pattern also features and orange hotspot behind the copper tungsten bead. An excellent choice in most any situation.  Basically a variation on the original perdigon, it is a popular fly in the competition world.

This fly is tied on a #16, Fulling Mill 50 degree barbless jig hook and features a copper tungsten bead. Yet another great addition to our growing list of Euro Nymphs and Jig flies.
