The Daiichi 1520 is one versatile and strong hook. Most notably, it is a favorite of many for eggs and steelhead flies like steelhead soft hackles. We also have some folks that use these as the 2nd stinger hook on articulated streamers as well. They make a great bluegill hook with the short shank and the durability of them and we even have some folks who tie spiders and ants on them.
This hook features a sproat bend, down eye, 2X heavy wire, 3X short shank. This is in between the Tiemco 105 and the Daiichi 1530. Nice hook.
