Blane's first "game changer" for our industry
Many years ago now, a young Blane Chocklett presented Lefty Kreh with a "new" idea in imitating baitfish.....at least in the fly world. Lefty was impressed, and within a few weeks Blane was an official fly designer for Umpqua Feather Merchants. Although the Gummy Minnow was his first "famous" fly pattern, he has continued to change the game at every step of his career.
Gummy minnows have since been successful on almost every fish that swims.
Tied with Silly Skin, these minnows for fishing are certainly "crossover" type flies that border the title "lures". (Which is ok with us). A variety of sizes and colors of fly-fishing minnows offered here!
