Team Member (Full Time & Part Time)

Location: Columbus, Ohio (in Store)

Job Description:

Mad River Outfitters is looking to grow its team and impact on the sport of fly fishing. Our team is united around our passion for fly fishing and helping both seasoned anglers and beginners get outdoors and on the water. 

We're seeking a team player who can help us create better fly fishing experiences by sharing fishing knowledge, giving recommendations and engaging with customers in store and on the phone every day. 

Responsibilities:

• Help customers with questions about products, fishing related questions and general outdoors knowledge.
• Support our shipping department by accurately picking and preparing online and phone orders for shipment.
• Flexible schedule based on shop hours.
• Participate on the Mad River Outfitters YouTube channel and other social channels.
• Be a team player, have fun and learn.

Qualifications:

• Store retail experience (preferred).
• Wants to be a part of a close-knit team in-store and on the water.
• Organizes and uses resources to meet deadlines and efficiently pick orders.
• Willing to learn about fly fishing and pass-the-buck when they don't have the answer.
