Targeting Redfish on the fly requires capitalizing on quick opportunities and feeding windows. The Cortland Tropic Plus Redfish taper fly line is specifically designed for these specific challenges that redfish often present.

They designed their Tropic Plus Redfish line with a short compact head featuring a 21’ body that is powerful and easy loading. A shorter 4’ front taper easily turns over large Redfish patterns as well as weighted patterns. The 5’ back taper helps load the line quickly with minimal false casting when fish are close and casts need to be as efficient as possible.

Built on a monofilament core, this line features Cortland's signature tropic plus coating for withstanding the hottest temperatures while still remaining slick, supple and fast shooting. Finished in Seafoam Green and tan, this line is stealthy yet traceable in tropic environments.
