The Prince nymph, and it's very close cousin the "Fly Formerly Known as Prince", has always been a great steelhead fly for us and our guides. Can't explain it...but it is. This is a souped-up, hot bead version of a standard prince nymph. Oversized pink bead and a light pink rib to this one just SCREAM steelhead. If you fish for steelhead in the Erie or Ontario region, this fly belongs in your box.
