The Barely Legal, a now legendary Kelly Galloup fly pattern has been a great streamer for our guides for many seasons and is a staple in our arsenal. They are truly a "go-to" fly for just about anything that swims in fresh water.
This little articulated Kelly Galloup fly pattern has great action with lots of marabou and a bit of flash. You can never go wrong with Olive over white either. We fish these versatile streamers on a floating, sinking or sink tip line, we also fish these as a second streamer behind a larger pattern such as the sex dungeon the fish that chase the big flies and turn away often crush the little guys running behind.
Galloup's Barely Legal here in the Olive/White color with a black conehead. It is tied in one size only...size 4 standard 4X streamer hook with a slightly smaller hook articulated behind. This fly measures approximately 3 1/2" long.
