MRO's Very Special Guest:
Kelly Galloup

Mad River Outfitters welcomes special guest Kelly Galloup......once again. We are thrilled and honored to be one of his few stops this winter here in the East! See the schedule for the weekend below.
Kelly is...and has been...one of the hottest names in the fly fishing industry for quite some time now and his seminars are not to be missed.
Kelly has been a fly fishing guide for over 27 years now. He started guiding in Michigan at the age of 16. He started his fly shop, The Troutsman in Traverse City, Michigan, in 1981. He continued to run The Troutsman until the spring of 2002 when he moved to Montana....where he and his wife operate the famous Slide Inn. Just a few years in and Kelly teamed up with old pal Brian Flechsig and Mad River Outfitters was selected as one of the few booking agents for the Slide Inn.
He is an author and and lecturer....and in our estimation one of the best in the business. His books are Modern Streamers for Trophy Trout (co-authored with Bob Linsenman) and Cripples and Spinners. Kelly has been published by virtually every major magazine in the business and is Editor-at-Large for Fly Fisherman Magazine. Kelly is also one of the hosts of Fly Fish TV on the Outdoor Life Network.
Kelly and Penny Galloup bought the Slide Inn in March of 2002. They honeymooned on the Madison and always said that they would be back to stay. The purchase of this famous inn has completed that dream. They have three children, Madison, McKenzie and Delaney, all named after the rivers. Mad River Outfitters is one of the few fly shops that Kelly and Penny work with as a booking agent and we will be hosting a trip there August 7th- 13th, 2011 (read about it here).

* this program will be limited to 20 students and the cost will be $25.00- this will be held at Mad River Outfitters on Bethel Rd.
Saturday, February 12th- 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m- Tying Modern Streamers- master class with Kelly
* this class will start at 8:00 a.m. and last until lunch- limited to 10 students and the cost is $50.00- intermediate to advanced tyers please

Saturday, February 12th- 1:00- 5:00 p.m.- Tying Modern Streamers- master class with Kelly (encore performance)
