This smaller grizzly marabou or "chickabou" is a very buggy versatile tying material that has endless uses and comes in a variety of popular colors. This is a material every fly tyer should have in their natural materials arsenal.
Some of the more popular uses are tails on smaller buggers, leeches and is also very popular for saltwater shrimp and crab patterns. Here at the shop, we use this material a ton when tying carp flies, as it adds the perfect amount of "buggyness" and realism. These feathers also give a great mottled option when shingling Gamechanger style flies and other streamer patterns.
