The 4.75" Glass Insert Bobbin is a top quality bobbin from the folks at Dr. Slick. This is the longer stem, 4.75" version that allows great control for larger flies and also fits better in larger hands. These feature Delrin feet for smooth tension on the thread spool and the glass inserts offer smooth application of thread to the fly. The inserts are shaped to allow for a smoother application of thread or other materials as the bobbin is rotated, and they cause less breakage than traditional pipe or straight edged inserts.
