Flip showed us this leader wallet many, many years ago and now we can't live without it. Now available in the "Grande" size which is designed to accommodate the larger "Wrist Spool" leader spools like Cortland, Rio, SA and others. These have become a standard piece of luggage that travels with us wherever we go.
Flip and Lefty designed this leader wallet originally for the "Mangrove" line of products that were distributed by TFO. They quit making them a few years back so we had to go it alone to get them done. We have now had them custom made for us exclusively right here in Columbus, Ohio and have made a few minor changes, and upgraded the velcro and fabric. Now features the Mad River Outfitters logo on the front as well!
The outside 4 pockets measure 6" X 4 3/4" and the four in the middle measure 6" X 6 1/8". The middle four pockets will hold the large "Wrist Spools" like Cortland, Rio Saltwater, SA, Ande and others. The outside 4 pockets will hold anything up to the size of say Rio Saltwater and of course standard Maxima.

This innovative leader/spool wallet holds eight + leader wheels and has two full length bellows pocket for nippers, pliers, glue etc. Perfect leader storage for larger wheels..... a must have for anbody who builds their own leaders. Freshwater or saltwater.
Overall measurements are 14" L X 7" T X 2" (empty). When opened it is 23 1/2" L X 14" T. Width of course determined by how much you are carrying in it.
Once we show these things to folks in our "Knots and Leaders" class...they buy it! A much needed addition here in the new "Grande" version.
