Bangtail T & A Mini - Galloup's

Kelly Galloup's Mini Bangtail T & A is simply one of the hottest streamers around. The mini version here is a bit easier to control and also a good choice for smaller waters or low and clear waters. Of course, a fantastic trout fly but also one of our hottest selling smallmouth and largemouth flies as well. An evolution of the original T & A Bunker which was always a great seller for us, this one is a major improvement.

Kelly added UV Polar Chenille to the body which really gives it a full, flashy body. He also added schlappen feather deceiver tails which help the fly swim correctly and add some movement off the back. The flash, appearance and action of this fly makes it, in our estimation, one of the best fishing flies of all-time. Also being unweighted, this fly is extremely easy to cast. Best fished of course on a sink tip or full sinking "Kelly Style" fly line.

The Mini Bangtail T & A here is tied on a #2 Universal Predator Equivalent (Kelly Montana Fly) hook and has a #6 Gamakatsu B10S articulated behind with wire and one red articulation bead. This is the Olive/White color variation which works anywhere and everywhere but especially good as a baby bass/smallmouth pattern. This fly is just shy of 4 1/4" head to toe.

This is quite simply one of the finest fishing flies ever developed. Period.
