Here’s why: They utilize the continuous triangle taper in the forward part of the line. Casting energy rolls through the loop, and doesn’t “hinge” as with other sink tips. Belly is ivory color for high visibility, while head is neutral grey. 90’ length. 3.25 –5 iPs sink rate, with a 36’–40’ taper, and a 54’–50’ running line.
The sink tip on the 4wt and 5wt is 10′ long and the tip on the 6wt- 8wt is 12′ long.

This design also gives you a more delicate presentation because the weight is away from the fly. It is also the finest roll casting line for up to 60’ casts. The combination of a long weighted section and a light running line make the triangle taper cast like a shooting head for distance. The tip end can be customized by cutting it back for the desired performance level.

If you need to return an item for any reason
- simply follow the instructions that are provided with each order
- Send us a quick e-mail, [email protected] AND simply drop a note in the return package with the following information: Your name, Order Number, Item(s) and a quick note on reason for returning. These instructions will also be printed on the return/address form. Please note that if it has been longer than 30 days, we will need to contact you to get a credit card number in order to apply the credit. Please make sure that we get a good phone number in that case.
- Drop the item in the mail/UPS to us and that's it! We'll be looking for it!
- We will be waiting for the item and will issue an immediate credit to your credit card account or...... you may leave the money on store account for future purchases. Have this on the 4 weight for a TFO Pro III. Works great! The sink rate is good. The floating section especially when treated with the Sci Anglers line dressing is VERY floaty. I was throwing the Laser Legal just fine with this setup. Can’t wait to see how it fishes in the summer!
