A three part, high-vis butt section here with a loop on one end and a tippet ring on the other. Simply add 2-4′ (or more if desired) of tippet to create a 9-11′ nymph leader. Having the tippet ring on there allows you to add tippet over and over without cutting into the taper. This is the “trout” version which works well for 6-5wt rods and 0X-2X tippets.
This leader is designed specifically for tuck casting nymphs (eggs) and indicators. Not at all designed to lay out straight……just so you know. Those that understand how and why on these will greatly appreciate!
