This hook is very similar to the old Mustad 79666 Keel Hook which is no longer made. Even a few improvements in a deeper gap and a vertical ring eye. The VRE allows your fly to track just the way you want it to. This hook has been made popular with flies like Kelly’s Stacked Blonde or his Belly Bumper Bunker. 25 per pack.
From our friends at Montana Fly Company and the Slide Inn comes the Kelly Galloup Belly Bumper streamer hooks. One of the hottest streamer hooks to come along in years!
This hook is very similar to the old Mustad 79666 Keel Hook which is no longer made. We sure missed it over the years but now thanks to MFC and KG, we are all good now. Even a few improvements in a deeper gap and a vertical ring eye. The VRE allows your fly to track just the way you want it to. This hook has been made popular with flies like Kelly’s Stacked Blonde or his Belly Bumper Bunker. Be sure to check out his videos over on the Slide Inn page!
MFC Tying hooks start with the strongest steel wire on the planet. From there they form the various hook styles, add micro-barbs, and start the forging process to attain the perfect hardness. The final step is to chemically sharpen the hook for razor-like penetration.
Kelly Galloup Belly Bumper fly hooks available in size 4, 2, 1 or 2/0 which is all you need according to Kelly (and Kelly knows). They are sold 25 to a pack.
