The new Grande version of the now famous Flip Pallot leader wallet. This one is specifically designed for the larger “Wrist Spools” of mono. A much needed addition to the line-up.
Flip and Lefty designed this leader wallet originally for the “Mangrove” line of products that were distributed by TFO. They quit making them a few years back so we had to go it alone to get them done. We have now had them custom made for us exclusively right here in Columbus, Ohio and have made a few minor changes, and upgraded the velcro and fabric. Now features the Mad River Outfitters logo on the front as well!
The outside 4 pockets measure 6″ X 4 3/4″ and the four in the middle measure 6″ X 6 1/8″. The middle four pockets will hold the large “Wrist Spools” like Cortland, Rio Saltwater, SA, Ande and others. The outside 4 pockets will hold anything up to the size of say Rio Saltwater and of course standard Maxima.

This innovative leader/spool wallet holds eight + leader wheels and has two full length bellows pocket for nippers, pliers, glue etc. Perfect leader storage for larger wheels….. a must have for anbody who builds their own leaders. Freshwater or saltwater.
Overall measurements are 14″ L X 7″ T X 2″ (empty). When opened it is 23 1/2″ L X 14″ T. Width of course determined by how much you are carrying in it.
Again…..now made in the USA right here in Columbus, Ohio to boot!!

If you need to return an item for any reason:
- Simply follow the instructions that are provided with each order.
- Send us a quick e-mail, [email protected] and / or drop a note in the return package with the following information: Your name, Order Number, Item(s) and a quick note on reason for returning.
These instructions will also be printed on the return/address form. Please note that if it has been longer than 30 days, we will need to contact you to get a credit card number in order to apply for the credit. Please make sure that we get a good phone number in that case. - Drop the item in the Mail / UPS to us and that’s it – We’ll be looking for it!
We will be waiting for the item and will issue an immediate credit to your credit card account or you may leave the money on the store account for future purchases. If we don’t hear otherwise, the refund will go back on the exact card used for the transaction. *Note: If an item was not purchased via the internet, phone or the purchase was made more than 30 days previous, we will need to contact you to secure a means of credit.
- Once we process your return, we will make a note on your “Customer Service Notes” and then drop your return/credit receipt in the mail.

I live in Wales UK. I bought 3 Grandes. Superb product. I keep Leaders / Sinking Tips in one smaller sized tippet spools in another and large flurocarbon/mono spools in the third. Top quality but simply unavailable in Europe or UK made in USA superb.

One rating from 2023. Probably from the last time they were available. I know, available in about two weeks. Can’t begin to tell you how long the shop has been telling me that. Problem is, Can’t find a decent alternative.
