Total domination of the strike indicator world! Air-Locks are secure, adjustable and kinkless! 1″ size here. Scroll down for videos. The new Biodegradable foam versions featured here.
The Air-Lock Strike Indicators are touted by many as the best strike indicators ever developed! These are the 1″ size which is most popular for big water and for Steelheading in the Great Lakes region. Quit sacrificing your fly fishing tapered leaders to the “bobber gods”. The Air-Lock Strike Indicator is ultra buoyant, super visible, durable, easy to adjust, and won’t render the butt section of your leader a kinky mess. These are the new and improved biodegradable foam versions.
The makers of Air-Locks believe in keeping our waterways as clean as possible. Therefore, the new versions of these are now biodegradable.foam so in the event that they should break loose for any reason, they will break down over time. Not to be confused with “water soluble”, they will not dissolve or be compromised in any way during normal use.
The new biodegradable foam has more benefits beyond keeping our waterways clean:
* 30% Lighter: Easier, more efficient casting and delivery.
* Suspends 25% more weight on the water.
* Stealth: Neutral-colored post is less visible to fish, and the lighter overall weight lands softer on the water.
* Sensitivity: Better strike detection.
* Durability: No more leaks, dents, holes, cracks or pops!
* Easier to see leader slot when attaching.
* Hurts 38.6% less when you hit yourself in the back of the head on a forward cast.
These fly fishing bobber strike indicators are the 1″ size and are available here in singles by color.
