Flip's last rod design....and it's a GREAT one!
The Echo Overcast family of fly rods, was the brainchild of Flip Pallot himself! These are built for maximum line speed in freshwater and saltwater conditions. A dream rod of Flip's for many years, and so thrilled to see them come to reality, even if he can't be here to see them.
When Flip challenged Echo to answer a simple question- "Who wouldn't want more line speed?"- The OverCast series was born. Designed in collaboration with Tim Rajeff, OverCast fly rods are purpose-built for freshwater and saltwater anglers facing the usual challenges: wind, distance, accuracy demands, and heavier flies.
