These early season flies should pretty much cover March, April and May, especially here in the East. Little Black Stones, Blue Winged Olives, Hendricksons, Blue Quills, Sulphers and more. Not only dries but we’ll be throwing in some specific emergers and nymphs as well. Be sure to check around in other categories for more general patterns and be sure to see Hatches 2 for later season bugs like March Browns and Drakes etc.
