Gummy Minnow Mini - Chocklett's

- blue size 6

$5.99

Designed for smallmouth but it works great on largemouth, saltwater fish, trout and just about anything else that eats a minnow! Tied on stainless saltwater hooks just like the Clouser Minnows. Made with Sili Skin/Gummy Body and designed by Blane Chocklet for Umpqua Feather Merchants. This fly is good for largemouth and smallmouth bass of course but this mini version is not a bad choice for bluegill either. We know some folks who fish this mini version off the docks for snook at night.

The Gummy Minnow was developed a number of years ago now by Blane Chocklett, and the mini version came along a year or two after. Over the years it has been one of our best selling flies! This here is the Mini version that is tied on a size 6 hook as opposed to the standard Gummy Minnow which is tied on a size 2 hook.

Is it a fly? Definitely crosses some lines. Inspired by soft plastic freshwater baits, the new gummy minnow is one of the coolest baitfish imitations to come down the pike in years. As far as fly fishing goes, you really haven't seen anything like it!
