Speckled Crystal Chenille is a wildly popular chenille that is most often used in Wooly Buggers. Flash-a-Buggers, Krystal Buggers.....tons of variations. It can also be used in a variety of other patterns and can basically be used anywhere that you would use standard chenille. Very popular on Smallmouth and Largemouth flies, saltwater flies as well as bright stuff for Alaska.
It has a mottled, or speckled appearance and is also accented with flecks of flashabou which give it a flashy or sparkly look. This stuff is marketed under several different names but this is the good quality stuff that we get from Hareline Dubbin.
