New for 2012 season!
The Coyhaique River Lodge
The Heart and Soul of Northern Patagonia
Coyhaique River Lodge is located on 40 acres just 5 miles outside the city of Coyhaique on the banks of the Coyhaique River. The 10,000 square foot lodge is designed to greet and host our visitors who have come to enjoy the magnificent beauty of the region.
Two Queen-size beds in each of the eight large guest rooms will spoil even the most particular of guests. After a full day of fly fishing and adventures, the large deck overlooking the picturesque Coyhaique River and endless mountains beyond, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sip of the local Pisco Sour or a glass of the finest Chilean wine.
“Our goal is to toast the very best of service so that our guests take home with them wonderful memories of their visit to Patagonia. “

The Fishing- XI Region, Chile
| In the Aysen Region, there are countless rivers and lakes of diverse dimensions and qualities. This offers the angler an un-paralleled variety of fishing options. Plus, our spirit for adventure constantly drives us to discover new fishing locales, giving us the opportunity to access places where very few people have visited. Our geographic area of operations is wide and it’s multiple resources allow us to offer fly fishing tours anywhere from the Rio Nirehuao in the North to the Baker River in the South. |
|
A typical week would be as follows:
2 days walk-and-wade – smaller/spring creeks
2 days float trips- larger rivers
1 day lake trip
1 day you decide
|
|
As stated, we want to work with you to put together a fishing experience that matches your needs and wants. If you don’t like boats…we walk all week. If you can’t get around so well……we float. You will also be sent a listing of the areas and waters that we fish with some of the characteristics. You can then chat with us before, or upon your arrival with Nico, about your preferences.
You need to have some basic fly fishing gear. Bring along a 5 and a 6, floating lines, 2X and 4X leaders, a good selection of Patagonia Flies (we’ll help with this).,….throw in your waders and boots and you are all set. A detailed equipment listing will be sent to you upon reserving a week
