We are extremely excited to announce this Belize Sampler- split trip. We are positive this trip will be one of the best saltwater fishing excursions that we have ever offered. Three days and four nights will be spent in San Pedro, on Ambergris Caye, fishing for Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit and Snook and three days and four nights will be spent on a 12 acre island known as Southwater Caye, which is surrounded by some of the best tailing permit flats in the world! You will be escorted around Belize by Bill Conlon of Mad River Outfitters and Doug Brady of Belize Flats Fishing Expeditions.

The first four nights of lodging and three days of fishing will be spent based out of the charming little beach town of San Pedro, on Ambergris Caye. San Pedro is a warm, friendly town that defines the word "casual". With only 10 streets and no pavement, most people get around the village by walking, riding a bike or renting an electric powered golf cart. The laid back atmosphere on this island and the unique "vibe" are a sure tonic to cure what ails you. The place has a fantastic "vibe" and also features some great "night life". Our guests will take a 20-minute flight from the International airport in Belize City up to San Pedro. The short flight takes you over the exraordinary aquamarine waters of the Caribbean Sea that Belize has become famous for.
Located right in the heart of San Pedro Town, The Sun Breeze Hotel makes a great base for a week of fly fishing in San Pedro. The hotel is located right on the beach and is close to a wide variety of bars and restaurants to meet all tastes. If you're looking for a little nightlife after a day on the flats, this is the ideal spot.....and if not.....still the ideal spot.
The second leg of this trip will take us down south, twelve miles off the coast of Dangriga, to a place called Southwater Caye. This beautiful island is one of the most visually stunning locations in all of the Caribbean. The island is small, at just under 12 acres in size, and guests can walk from one end to the other in about 5 minutes. Drenched in palm trees and located right on the Barrier Reef, the island is surrounded by countless permit flats...that many consider to be some of the best in the world. These pristine flats hold incredible numbers of permit, and can be counted on for numerous quality shots even while wading. Tarpon fans will also delight in the year round resident schools of fish that live within a half hour of the island. The bonefish that live around the island are also very plentiful. Upon arrival on Southwater Caye, Mr. Brady will be treating our clients to a brief "Permit Seminar" to help in your pursuit.

Belize Sampler- $3250.00 per angler
Trip Includes- 6 days of guided fishing from flats boats, 8 nights of lodging, all travel- flights, taxis and boat taxis while in Belize, all meals
Trip Does Not Include- Airfare to and from Belize City, Gratuities, Alchoholic Beverages
50% Deposit is required to secure a reservation, full balance is due no later than September 1st, 2008- any cancellations must be made by this time also

Belize Sampler Itinerary
*We will be flying into into Goldson International Airport in Belize City. There are daily flights in and out on Continental through Houston, American through Dallas or American through Miami. The flight from the International Airport up to San Pedro, where we are starting the trip, is only 20 minutes in length. All in country airfare, ground and water taxi logistics are handled by us. We will arrive on November 1st and Belize Flats Fishing Expeditions will have the tickets waiting for us when we get there. We will be met by Mr. Brady's associate Margie as soon as we clear customs and she'll take us over to the local carrier (Tropic Air). When we land in San Pedro, we will be met by Doug Brady, partner in Belize Flats Fishing Expeditions, and will be under his watchful eye the entire trip.
Saturday, November 1st-Arrive Belize City, Fly up to San Pedro. Cocktail and orientation at 6pm. Dinner at 7:30 pm
Sunday, November 2nd-Breakfast at 7am. Depart for the days fishing. The fishing day in San Pedro is 8 hours long. If you are into fish, the guides will keep you out longer. Lunch is served by the guides on board the boat and there will be water and sodas on board as well. Cocktails at 6pm. Dinner at 7pm
Monday, November 3rd-Breakfast at 7am. Depart for fishing at 7:30am. Return at 3:30pm. Cocktails at 6pm. Dinner at 7pm
Tuesday, November 4th-Breakfast at 7am. Depart for fishing at 7:30am. Return at 3:30pm. Cocktails at 6pm. Dinner at 7pm
Wednesday, November 5th-This is the travel day. Folks can sleep in and have breakfast at 8am. We will depart the hotel at 11am and fly down to Dangriga at 11:20am. The boat out to the Island will depart at 12pm and we will arrive just in time for lunch, between 12:30 and 1pm. Permit Seminar at 4pm with cocktails. Dinner at 6:30pm
Thursday, November 6th-Breakfast at 6am. Depart for fishing at 6:45am. Lunch is on board the boat. The fishing day here is 10-11 hours long and again, if clients are into fish, the guides will keep them out longer. Cocktails at 6pm and Dinner at 7pm
Friday, November 7th-Breakfast at 6am. Depart for fishing at 6:45am. Lunch is on board the boat. Cocktails at 6pm and Dinner at 7pm
Saturday, November 8th- Breakfast at 6am. Depart for fishing at 6:45am. Lunch is on board the boat. Cocktails at 6pm and Dinner at 7pm
Sunday, November 9th- Departure Day. Once we have flight schedules out of Belize City, Mr. Brady will organize the water and ground taxis along with airfare from Dangriga back to the Belize International Airport
