Senyo's Sculpin
The use of the slimy sculpin as a baitfish for trout dates back to the mid 1920's when it was favorite bait under the name "cockatouch" for brook trout in the Nipigon Canada waters.
Sculpin patterns have become a staple ingredient of the "Modern Streamers" revolution and this one should be in the box! This fly pattern nicely emulates these tasty morsels and are deadly on all types of trout as well as pike and smallmouth up north. They have also become staple patterns to have for steelheaders in the Great Lakes region. Great sculpin pattern from our friend Greg Senyo!
When fishing for big predatory fish...this is a good one to have!
