Filson Mackinaw Wool Lap Robe
Made with exactly the same fabric as Filson's Mackinaw blankets (Style 3B), but cut to lap robe size with classic fringe. So this lap robe has the same thickness, warmth and durability as our full-size blankets. We shear our sheep only once a year - they need that long to grow the very long fibers that give Filson wool its natural strength and warmth. Wool from twice-a-year sheared sheep would cost less - but then a Filson wouldn't have the same ruggedness or the same warmth wet or dry.
