The outer shell of this Tilley is made from wool that has been treated with Teflon to maximize insulation against the elements while offering repellency from snow, sleet, and even stains. A layer of air-trapping closed-cell foam has been added to the crown, providing extra insulation and a little noggin' protection. Important, since more than half our body's warmth escapes through the neck and head! A Tilley secret pocket can be found in the crown to hide "a little something" from the elements and pickpockets. Soft, sueded, closely knit tuckaway earflaps and forehead warmer keep wearers cozy on "meterologically challenged" days.
