Best we can describe is that these rods are a bit slower in the tip than the TiCr but a bit faster than the Professional Series with beefed up butt sections for horsing big fish. All have full-wells grips and fighting butts and as with most TFO rods do not come with a rod tube, just a rod sack.
These have become a real favorite for salmon and steelhead anglers in the Great Lakes region....especially the 10 foot models.
Like most TFO rods, the Jim Teeny series comes with a rod sack...but not a rod tube.
