The Killer Bug is a perfect example of a simple fly that just catches fish like crazy. Another pattern from Frank Sawyer, the man who invented the pheasant tail, this bugger pattern might immitate a scud, a sowbug, some caddis, who cares the fish just love to eat these things. The killer bug has a cult like following in much of PA, as well as in some western states, we use them here on the mad, and whenever we are on new water and don't know what the fish want, it's that good!

We carry these here in #14 and #10, the #14 is the standard we use for trout, the #10 is great in high water, faster areas and we have found, a great steelhead fly here in the Erie Tribs.
