The Fat Head Moth is the spruce moth imitation we have been looking for, high floating make sure you twitch and skate these. We see these big moths every year on our trips to the Madison River and the trout go crazy. However across the West in the late summer these big terrestrial moths can come out in droves. Also useful around here for trout in August and September.
Also a great attractor/terrestial, as well as a spent or fluttering caddis. A must have for our Montana trips!
