To Operate:

Simply point and shoot. To gain the most accurate readings hold the unit as close to the water as possible (for every foot away from the target you will lose up to 2 degrees of accuracy.

 

Can change from F to C if needed! Battery is and LR44 1.5v cell and is easily replaced.
