This fly is the "go-to" steelhead nymph of one of our guides, John Rochus. He claims this fly is responsible for more steelhead than any other in his arsenal.
It is basically a sparkle caddis. Spirit River officially calls it the "Lite Brite Caddis" in the bronze peacock color.
This fly is also a good generic pattern for trout. This color seems to be something special and it really produces for us. Must have in any box.
