Eumer plastic tubes are designed to fit together. The small size fits into the large. When this is done correctly, the innter tube protrudes out of the front and serves as a tie point and a place to mount a conehead if desired. The outer tube serves as the hook tube at the back of the fly. These plastic tubes are durable enough to withstand very cold water but soft enough to stretch over the eye of the hook.
The small size will accept HMH Bead heads, small HMH coneheads, Monster Cones and Eumer coneheads and is the perfect size for "nesting" inside other tubes. It is also the size provided as the liner tube for the Eumer teardrops and ball tubes.
The large size will accept HMH custom cones size large as well as the Eggheads beads.
All sizes can of course be used alone as well although the smaller will usually require some form of junction tubing.
