Abel Super Series #13 Fly Reel

The Abel Super 13 fly reel is for 13 and 14wt lines. The Super 13 interchanges with the #5 AND Super 14 spool/frame. This is a monster of a fly reel friends for the biggest of the big!

* Since 2007, all Super Series reels size 6 and larger and all Big Game reels size 3N and larger have been fitted with the new Double Pawl system. Two pawls instead of one are a bit more reliable when big fish are headed for the horizon; but the best thing is the really neat sound they make. Instead of click, click, click...double pawl reels hum a merry tune of clickclickclickclick. Cool!

The Abel Super 13 weighs 13.9 ounces. It holds 600 yards of 50lb gel-spun or bionic braid backing with a 13wt fly line and 550 yards of the same with a 14wt.
