Beck's Hendrickson is our best selling dry fly for this ever-important hatch. It is a thorax style dry with hen saddle wings. Great Hendrickson pattern, one of our favorites, from Barry & Cathy Beck although they basically stole this from Vince Marinaro and put their name on it.
This has been our "go-to" fly for many, many years now on the Mad River here in Ohio and it rarely fails to fool the fish. Tied of course on a size 14 as a Hendrickson should be.
This fly, coupled with Bear's Parachute, an emerger like a Sparkle Dun or a soft hackle and the Bead Head Hendrickson nymph and you have this hatch covered!
