Peacock Eyed tails here for the fly tyer. One of the most traditional and often used materials that can be found.
The eyed tails tend to give you more a variety of stem thickness and stiffness. Also a variety of barbule length for different sized flies. The green/blue/purple hues of the eyed part are also sought out by streamer and traditional steelhead/salmon fly tyers.

Tenkara Line Holder
These spools are great for quickly winding the line at the end of the day, or for moving from one spot to another. The Tenkara line holder is really a great accessory for Tenkara anglers.
While tenkara lines come with a small plastic spool, these spools are wider, and thicker, which make it much easier and quicker to wind the line around it. The notches are excellent for holding flies. The foam core helps ensure your line dries off quickly and also make it easier to secure the ends of the line. The foam core may also be used to hold a few flies in hand.
While we will not call it a "must have", this is an excellent tool to expedite winding the line, and it can be easily fit over the handle of your rod for transport.

Tenkara Level Line
The best tenkara level line anywhere: very little memory right out of the spool, the right stiffness for casting, and most importantly VERY HIGH VISIBILITY! This is the preferred line used by Dr. Hisao Ishigaki, leading tenkara authority in Japan.
Our tenkara level line is a special formula of fluorocarbon, that was specifically formulated for tenkara with good visibility, low memory and best castability being the main criteria. Fluorocarbon is the chosen material for it has the right weight, density and stiffness to be cast with tenkara yet can be kept off the water at long distances for no drag on the line - (*pieces of the main line do not have to be cut if you use our suggested knots, thus it is not damaging to the environment).
20meter (65ft) spools.
Traditional Lines or Level Lines? We like to recommend you try both the traditional lines and level line as you may quickly find a preference for one of them.
#2.5, #3.5 or #4.5? A #4.5 line is easier to cast, but slightly more challenging to keep off the water at longer distances. The #3.5 line is slightly more challenging to cast, but can be kept off the water at a longer distance more easily. The #2.5 is the thinnest and most technical, for demanding situations and delicate presentations.

Tenkara USA Ito Rod
The Tenkara USA Ito is the longest rod in their lineup. They strived to achieve a very long rod, with the lightest possible feel. A true delight to fish any mountain stream, the Ito will be most at home in wider streams, larger rivers and ponds. It is the main rod we like to recommend for those who fish more open streams. The Ito feels incredibly light at 13ft, as the balance is brought closer to the handle, and still very light at 14ft7in.
Special Features: The Ito features an innovative "zoom" function, which allows the angler to lock one segment in place to fish the rod either at 13ft (390cm) length or, fully extended, at 14ft7in (450cm). The zoom locks both at the butt of the rod with a proprietary cap, and at the end of the handle segment. Having a rod that can be instantly extended an extra 2ft is a true asset in any mountain stream, even some of the smaller streams. A killer combination with a very long line in a large stream, or with a shorter line in a small stream. This is by far the most versatile rod we offer. We used the highest possible quality cork for the handle and only the finest components to make this our premium rod. The finish is also superb, being a matte black with a gradient dark blue block at the end of each segment.
*rod lengths may vary slightly from indicated due to the telescopic nature of the rods Specs: Length: 13ft - 14ft7in Finish: Matte Black with dark blue sections Segments: 9 (can be fished as 8) Closed length: 25.8inches (65.53cm) Handle length: 12inches (30.48cm) Weight: 4.1oz (116g) - Made in China
