The Olive Matuka streamer is simplly one of our favorite "old school" streamers that there is. Our founder Brian Flechsig grew up fishing these locally and down in Missouri and it has always been one of his top producing flies. Believe he mentions in his book on the Mad River that this was his top producing fly for browns on our local river here.
This is a killer tie! The famous...must have....Olive Matuka. This one is tied with a grizzly olive hen saddle feather which we think is superior than the ones you see with rooster neck or saddle feathers. This has been a staple streamer for us for decades.
The classic olive Matuka fly available here in the size 4 and 8. The size 4 measures about 2 3/4" long and the size 8 measures about 2" long.
